Japan Tax Forecast is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
None. The app has no account or login, no backend server, and no analytics or tracking. Your scenarios — salary, side income, residency details and any notes you enter — are stored only on your device using on-device storage.
Your tax inputs are never transmitted to us or to any third party. The app works fully offline for all of its calculations. If you choose to export a summary (PDF or text), that file leaves your device only through the share sheet you select, to the destination you choose.
Pro features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → “Delete all local data,” or by deleting the app. Because nothing is stored off-device, deletion is complete and immediate.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
